Hayling in very special brown oak

A super practical table in brown oak with dramatic burr sections. Made from 600 year old English oak with some extraordinary burr sections in the legs and lipped edges. Lightly fumed to balance all the tones together and the lipped edges cut back to show a stunning almost tortoise shell pattern. This would be ideal as an alcove shelf with ample space for books and some houseplants or indeed a great bar area with serving tray and some special bottles for cocktail hour.
Inspiration came from South Korean aesthetics and the need for a practical alcove shelf storage.
